"The kaidon, the lords, and many of our elders have now gathered at dokaim keep. The arbiter, the bane of truth and the symbol of our people's freedom, requests an audience with our clan's leaders to ask for our support in his efforts to unite sanghelios...
...I'm wary if such a task can be done.
But of anyone, I know the arbiter, the one who saved our people, can also be the one to lead us into the future. He may have gained my trust, but the same may not be said for the rest of the clan...
...I know the kaidon.
He will side with the arbiter. And if he does, our lords will follow. I just fear that if we do come to his aid, then civil war will break out among our home provinces. However, if that is the price to pay for the future of our people, then it is something we must be prepared to face if...

When the time comes." - an elder of Dokaim Keep

A group of Dokaim outside the walls of their province
|
The Dokaim Keep had assembled a massive audience with many of its leaders for the arrival of the Arbiter who sought to ally with Dokaim's keeps. As major points of the border were being reinforced in preparation for this event, teams of warriors had been sent outside the state’s walls to patrol the region's vast forest for extra security.
On the day of the meeting, one of these teams encountered and managed to thwart the plans of an unknown group of assailants who attempted to sabotage the gathering. Saving the meeting for imminent disaster. Though, it wasn't until after the brawl against this group when those Dokaim made their discovery. Aside from the enemy, what those warriors came across hidden within those forests that day was a passageway leading to a mysterious door of forerunner origin. |
Ever since the grand meeting with the arbiter came to a close, turmoil began to brew across the region. After finding out about the kaidon's decision to lend his hand to the arbiter and his cause, under the dark and moonlit skies that followed, assassins from all over would be sent to Dokaim Keep to tempt the kaidon of his life. Some of them hired from foreign and dangerous sects, while others fully prepared to commit an act of treason toward their state.

Aircrafts crossing the sea toward Idumine City
|
Several days after the meeting, word was brought to the kaidon's chambers of a great calamity that had befallen their people. A messenger had traveled all the way to Dokaim Keep to announce that the city of Idumine, the one and only city of their capital province, had been bombed and destroyed overnight. The bombings were so sudden that there was no time for the people to evacuate or for the city guard to react. By the time any of the nearby local lords and their troops arrived to help, the city had already fallen.
|
After finding out about the bombing of Idumine and the occupation happening in Cha'dam, Dokaim's kaidon began warring against the keeps that stood against his clan. Whether they were from outside their borders, or from within too. This series of conflicts lasted for about a year and was later recorded as the Year of Dusk.

Sometime during the civil war on Sanghelios existed two Dokaim brothers named Jeda and Orilius. The two served in the Covenant military and both participated in numerous fronts throughout the human-covenant war. Orilius served as an Ossoona, leading espionage missions in the name of the prophets, while jeda served as a Major who led small teams on the frontlines and even fought alongside the arbiter toward the end of the war.
When the covenant fell, the two brothers shared opposing viewpoints of the war and went on to walk separate paths. While Jeda accepted the truth of the Great Journey for what it was, Orilius couldn’t and even saw the arbiter as a traitor for siding with humanity. After finding out about Orilius’s efforts to undermine the Dokaim government after they came out in support of the Arbiter, Jeda confronted his brother. After refusing to renounce his old and zealous ways, as his brother, Jeda was left with no other choice but to put a stop to Orilius and his schemes. [click for more] |
